Santa Claus

Today I decide to take Liam to see Santa in Atlanta.  He was ready that morning, but a little timid.   We got in line and he said no no no.  He was not quite ready yet and needed to walk around first.   Finally he was ready and we went to get in line.  We noticed Santa was taking a break for milk and cookies so we regrouped.   We went into various stores to kill time.   We ventured into William Sonoma where Gigi works.   She was busy so we moved on.   Then we decided to give it a third go.   We were watching as one little blond girl sat on his lap and got her picture made.   I said, Liam isn't she brave!  I asked if he wanted to see him he said no.   I spoke with a grandmother that was trying to get her granddaughter to get a picture.  She said, some years you just have to skip it.    They walked off as I stood there and let Liam take it all in.   I asked him again, and he said yes!!!   Are you sure I asked, and he replied with a big confident yes. We got in the line with bells on.   He was very brave and extremely serious.   I tried to get him to smile,but I did not try to force it.   I was very proud of him for being so brave.   I think he ended up liking the experience.

After that we surprised GiGi at her work.   We ended up eating with her at ZinBurger.   Liam gobbled up some zucchini fries, a burger and a milkshake.   He loved the food with lots of

mmmms.   What a fun day!
